This is a poster for a book release by Chronical Books, in concept of course. I had two others that fit into the series but this one is my favorite. I was also looking forward to an excuse to buy some army guys….too much fun, and juxtapozed with Helvetica – Outstanding? – ya think

This is a cover design for a Hemlock Printers checklist for bridging the desktop process to the printing process, It was a great project and the only downer was this cover ended on up on the cutting room floor. I wanted to reflect the history of the company and the craft that is perhaps taken for granted. Maybe a bit to gritty for blanketing the design world – I guess you learn from your mistakes…..don’t take chances, stay in the box, and play it safe…….simple eh?

This is poster playing with music and typography. The words are that of Paolo Nutini, if this guy comes to town go see him, he is here in a month, I’ll be there.
